Modifying Disk, CPU, and Memory Resources
Instructors can adjust the originally provisioned resources for the Fresh-Start Desktop. This is handy when you realize the course needs more CPU, memory, or storage for extra programs or software.
Before changing these parameters, ensure the Fresh-Start desktop is stopped. Click the gear and select either "Stop" or "Force-Stop".
Once stopped, you can resize the assigned resources. Click the gear icon, navigate to advanced, and choose Resize (ram, cpu, disk).
Selecting that opens a Resize form where you can reallocate CPU, RAM, or Storage as required. The form displays the maximum allowed for each.
Keep in mind that these changes affect the desktop's price, but we recommend allocating what the course needs for a smooth experience.
