DaDesktop: Compatible CPU Architectures (ARM and AMD64)
Through automated build testing, DaDesktop offers full support for the following processors:
x86 (AMD64) Processors from Intel and AMD
AMD
- AMD Zen 2 (EPYC 7002, Ryzen)
- AMD Zen 3 (EPYC 7003, Ryzen)
- AMD Zen 4 (EPYC 9004, Ryzen)
- AMD Zen 5 (ES, QS)
Some of our customers continue to run Zen 1 (EPYC 7001) systems.
Intel
- Xeon E3, E5, E7 v3 or later (Haswell)
- Xeon Scalable line
- Core i5, i7, i9 (Haswell and newer)
Xeon Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge (E3, E5, E7) seem to work fine, though we don't include them in our automated tests.
ARM
- AWS Graviton (1, 2, 3, 4)
- Ampere® Altra® Q80-30 and newer
- Kunpeng 920 and later
Most other CPU models, including Apple Silicon, should run without issues. If you'd like to test your hardware, feel free to contact our technical support.
Risc-V
RISC-V support should be functional, but we haven't performed extensive testing yet.
