DaDesktop: Compatible CPU Architectures (ARM and AMD64)

Through automated build testing, DaDesktop offers full support for the following processors:

x86 (AMD64) Processors from Intel and AMD

AMD

  1. AMD Zen 2 (EPYC 7002, Ryzen)
  2. AMD Zen 3 (EPYC 7003, Ryzen)
  3. AMD Zen 4 (EPYC 9004, Ryzen)
  4. AMD Zen 5 (ES, QS)

Some of our customers continue to run Zen 1 (EPYC 7001) systems.

Intel

  1. Xeon E3, E5, E7 v3 or later (Haswell)
  2. Xeon Scalable line
  3. Core i5, i7, i9 (Haswell and newer)

Xeon Sandy Bridge and Ivy Bridge (E3, E5, E7) seem to work fine, though we don't include them in our automated tests.

ARM

  1. AWS Graviton (1, 2, 3, 4)
  2. Ampere® Altra® Q80-30 and newer
  3. Kunpeng 920 and later

Most other CPU models, including Apple Silicon, should run without issues. If you'd like to test your hardware, feel free to contact our technical support.

Risc-V

RISC-V support should be functional, but we haven't performed extensive testing yet.
